All nutrition consultations are carried out at the Nutrition Clinic. We listen to your nutrition needs and design a bespoke evidence-based program designed for you.

Type 2 Diabetes

Diet and physical activity can be highly effective in both the prevention and management of Type 2 Diabetes. Take action to prevent the condition if you are at risk or learn how diet and exercise can be used to better manage your condition. There are many different dietary options we can use, and we will design the best strategy that will work for you. At the Nutrition Clinic, we also provide on-site HbA1c testing, so clients with Type 2 Diabetes can get regular testing to see how their nutrition and exercise programs are affecting their condition.

Plant-based diets

There has been a huge increase in the number of people who have been transitioning to plant-based diets. Although there can be many benefits, it is important to ensure you are taking the right steps so that all your nutritional needs are being met.     Session
  • The first step of your nutrition plan is to book in for an initial consultation. Once you have been booked in for your consultation, you will be asked you to carry out a 3-days food diary. Special instruction and details about the food diary will be emailed to you.  An initial health assessment will be carried out including bioelectrical impedance testing and anthropometric measurements. Based on your assessment and goals you will either be put on a bespoke macronutrient plan or meal plan.

  • After being given your nutrition plans for the week you will not be left alone, we make sure you always feel fully supported. You will have unlimited email/text access throughout the week, as well as regular check-ins to ensure all instructions are clear for you. Feel rest assured that you will be fully supported. Here we work as a team to make sure have all the tools you need to succeed.
  • Follow-up Session

    Session
  • Once a week you will come in for weekly weigh-ins and take your physical measurements. We will review how you have progressed during the week, and your nutrition plan will be adjusted accordingly. Any challenges and barriers you faced will be discussed and new strategies will be shown to help you to overcome them.
